Merging

Nobody wants four attachments

A signed contract, an invoice and two photos of a delivery note. The person receiving them wants one file, in the order the story happens.

Merge a few filesRuns in your browser

Merging is the least glamorous operation in this subject and the one people reach for most. It is also the one with the smallest surprise: order in, order out, nothing reconstructed, nothing inferred.

The part worth knowing

Where this one runs

  • Runs the page tools entirely in your browser: those files are never uploaded

The merge happens in the page you have open. No copy of the contract goes anywhere, which matters when the contract is the reason you are being careful in the first place.

Order is the whole job

Files are combined in the order you arrange them, not the order the operating system happened to list them in. Drag them where they belong before you start — a merged document in the wrong sequence is worse than four separate attachments, because the mistake is now invisible.

Two neighbours worth knowing

  • Merges, splits, rotates and reorders pages, and deletes or extracts the ones you pick
  • Takes files up to 100 MB and up to 50 files in one task

And the limit

  • Let you download the result without a subscription — running the tool is open to everyone, the download is not
